AFL - Assessment for Learning

Benchmark better outcomes in literacy and numeracy.

Assessment for Learning is possibly the hottest topic currently on the education radar. Why? .... because it can have a profound impact on how you teach, how your pupils learn and most importantly, how to deliver better learning outcomes. It is the duty of every teacher to know the detail of AfL. How well do you know AfL? The teachers who take this course will be expert in all aspects of AfL.

It is a fact that Assessment for Learning is now a high priority area for the DES and for the NCCA. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to implement an AfL lesson approach in your teaching next September. An AfL lesson plan approach delivers better outcomes in teaching and learning.
